HOPE CHURCH NYC IS PURCHASING A PROPERTY AT 109 E. 31ST NY NY 10016 AS A MINISTRY CENTER FOR THE CITY.
OUR DREAM IS FOR THIS BUILDING TO BE A PLACE WHERE NEW DISCIPLES, NEW CHURCHES, AND NEW KINGDOM VENTURES CAN BE FORMED FOR GENERATIONS TO COME IN NEW YORK CITY.
OUR HISTORY
In 2012, we started Hope Church NYC with a dream to start a movement of Christ followers in New York City that would connect people to a transforming relationship with Jesus and a community of faith.
Today, Hope has grown into a family of 10 churches across the city and having baptized hundreds of New Yorkers who have taken new steps of faith in Christ. We have helped start an urban church planting network called the New City Network which has also served to start 30 churches and serve urban pastors who are leading thousands collectively in cities all over the country.
Hope Midtown has been an instrumental church in birthing this movement.
OUR FUTURE
What is near impossible (owning space in Manhattan) has become a reality through some unique provision by God. There are many moving parts to this story, but two key factors:
1) THE BUILDING SOLD FOR $750/SQ FT WHICH IS ALMOST HALF THE NORMAL PRICE IN MANHATTAN.
2) THE GENEROSITY OF A FOUNDATION WHICH HAS PURCHASED THE TOP 3 FLOORS OF 7 & LOANED HOPE MIDTOWN MONEY TO PURCHASE THE BOTTOM 4 FLOORS.
Our dream is for this property to become a ministry center whereby new disciples, new churches, and new kingdom ventures are formed for generations to come in New York City.
